Ticket prices for the Eiffel Tower depend on :
- Your age
- By what means you wish to go up (stairs or elevator)
Other ticket options are also available for a summit access or just the 2nd floor, with the possibility of using the stairs of the tower. Prices for these tickets vary between 2,80€ and 21,50€.
You can buy tickets for the Eiffel Tower, located on the Trocadéro in Paris, online or onsite directly at the ticket office.
Without booking your ticket and time slot online in advance, you are not guaranteed to access the Eiffel Tower, if the maximum number of visitors for the day is reached.
Please note that tickets are valid only for the date and time booked.

- take the Stairs to climb up to the 2nd floor
- then take the Elevator to the Summit
- Kids less than 4 years old do not pay for an entrance ticket, but their parents or guide must pay normal ticket price.
- Access to the 3rd floor is only possible by taking an elevator. There are stairs to this last floor, but their use is reserved in case an emergency evacuation is needed.
- Stairs and summit are not accessible to persons with reduced mobility.

It is possible to access the different floors of the Eiffel Tower by using its stairs, its elevators or a combination of the two.

- 1st floor at 58 meters (190 ft)
- 2nd floor at 116 meters (381 ft)
- Summit at 276 meters (906 ft)
- Max. Height (antenna) at 324 meters (1063 ft)

What is the best time to avoir the queues at the Eiffel Tower ?
It is usually best to try to climb up the Eiffel Tower in the early morning (if possible before 10:30), if you'd like to avoid waiting in line.
You can also try at the end of the day and evenings, after 5:00 pm.
